Professional School for Technology
english version by Georg Lang
The most important task of our technical college is to enable young people, who are willing
to further their education and qualifications, after graduation to assume leading, consulting and planning tasks in industry, the crafts and administration. The profession of the state
certified technician is the link between technical practice and the engineering sciences.
In modularized further education, traditional classes are replaced by so-called modules.
In these, we convey important qualifications, such as decision-making, personal responsibility and commitment in an integrated way. Furthermore, the modularization
enables our graduates through project-based teaching, a more flexible reaction to the changing
conditions of the working environment. Thus the subject matter always corresponds the state of the technology.
Through its organization, the modularization of our education is in accordance with the new
forms of national and international division of labor. It is our schools reaction to the changing
social, technological and organizational requirements of the 21. Century.
Complementary educational choices
Besides the instruction in well equipped laboratories, visits to trade-fairs, exhibitions, excursions and company visits take place. By choosing non-compulsory modules, our
students can gain additional attractive qualifications like for example the official instructor certificate for training apprentices.
